Frieze Week Hours:
Tuesday, February 27th through Saturday March 2nd from 12-6 PM
The Los Angeles Coastal Gallery Collective is a collective of 8 dynamic art spaces along the coastal westside of Los Angeles, comprised of artist-run projects, non-profits, and commercial galleries.
Following last year’s Frieze Projects: Against the Edge, a series of groundbreaking off-site exhibitions and performances in historical homes and cultural sites in Venice, Santa Monica and Pacific Palisades curated by Del Vaz Projects, we have brought together a group of vibrant and diverse galleries neighboring the Santa Monica Airport who are sustaining the presence of contemporary art along the city's coast.
From the historical L.A. Louver founded in 1975, to the grand opening of two new garage-galleries Sunset Courts and Extended Play, from longtime westsiders such as 5 Car Garage and Del Vaz Projects, to newer additions in the past few years like Zodiac Pictures, Central Server Works, and Long Play Contemporary, spaces range from conventional galleries to more alternative and domestic spaces. For more information, please see below and visit each gallery's website.
